Three residence hall buildings damaged in the fire were rebuilt in time for the fall 2009 semester, and faculty moved into newly completed homes in November, not quite a year after the fire.
Beebe has become involved in the local community, serving on the boards of Santa Barbara’s United Way, Santa Barbara Partners in Education, the Santa Barbara Symphony Orchestra, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and the Christian College Consortium.
